Copycat Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuits
These Copycat Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuits are as good if not better than the original! They only take 20 minutes to whip up and are a perfect addition to any dinner!

For the biscuits:
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1 tsp granulated sugar
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
- ½ cup butter, melted
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
For the topping:
- ¼ cup butter, melted If you use unsalted butter, add ½ tsp salt to this mixture
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- ½ tsp garlic powder
For the biscuits:
Preheat the oven to 425°. In a medium sized bowl, add flour, sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, cayenne, baking powder and baking soda.
Add melted butter, buttermilk and cheese to the dry ingredients, stir until just combined.
Using a ¼ measuring cup, scoop onto a baking sheet with parchment paper and evenly space. Bake for 15 minutes, or until the tops start to become golden brown.
For the topping:
Cook butter in the microwave in 30 second interviews, until completely melted. Add in chopped fresh parsley and garlic powder. Stir until combined.
Using a pastry brush, paint butter mixture on top of each biscuit. If you don't have a pastry brush, you can pour over with a spoon! Serve warm and enjoy!
