When my husband and I first started dating and we were living in Pittsburgh, chain restaurants were our jam. They’re perfect for a cheap date for a young couple; you get dressed up, go get a decent meal for an affordable price and have a fun time! But after moving to Houston and having so many amazing restaurants with all different cuisines at our doorstep, those chain restaurants fell to the wayside, with one exception… we couldn’t stop thinking about Red Lobster’s cheddar biscuits. I’m telling you, one time we went and just ordered drinks so we could eat their biscuits.. they are that good.

After deciding we needed these biscuits in our lives more, we set out to crack the code. This recipe can be whipped together in 5 minutes, and only takes 15 minutes to bake so you can be enjoying these babies in 20 minutes! In fact, last Thanksgiving 20 minutes before we sat down to eat, my mom realized she forgot to pick up dinner rolls. Now I don’t know about your family, but bread is essential at our holiday dinner. Sean suggested we make these biscuits up and sure enough, they were done in time for us to sit down to dinner on time!

Not only were the biscuits mixed, baked and ready by dinner, but everyone was asking us for the recipe! So, what are you waiting for…. you could be eating these buttery, flavorfully cheesy biscuits in 20 minutes!
