For the garlic herb butter:
- ½ cup salted butter melted
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
For the sliders:
- 12 slider buns
- 1 25 oz bag of chicken tenders microwave according to instructions to warm
- 1 cup marinara
- 9 slices provolone
- 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella
- ½ cup grated parmesan
For the sliders:
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with nonstick spray. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the slider rolls in half horizontally, keeping them connected and place on the prepared pan.
Brush the bottom layer of rolls generously with garlic butter, then add a layer of provolone cheese, ensuring it covers the entire surface.
Arrange the crispy chicken tenders evenly over the provolone, then spoon marinara sauce over the top. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the sauce, making sure to distribute it evenly. Place the top half of the rolls over the cheese layer, then brush the tops generously with more garlic butter.
Cover the dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes to allow the cheese to melt. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and slightly crisp. Let the sliders cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy warm with extra marinara sauce for dipping!
