Equipment

  • 1 4 inch ghost cookie cutter
  • 1 small round piping tip

Ingredients

  • 1 17.3 oz frozen puff pastry sheets
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup pepperoni slices
  • 1 tbsp water

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400° and allow the puff pastry sheets to defrost at room temperature for 15-20 minutes. Cut 4 ghosts out of each sheet, 8 in total. Spoon sauce onto the center of 4 of the 8 ghosts and spread, leaving ¼ inch without the sauce. Top with 3-4 slices of pepperoni and 2-3 tbsp mozzarella cheese.
  • For the other 4 ghosts, use the round piping tip to punch out 2 eyes and a mouth. Place over top of each of the pizza ghosts and gently press down the edges to seal.
  • In a small bowl, beat the egg and water with a fork until combined. Use the pastry brush to egg wash the top of each ghost. Bake for 13-15 minutes, or until cooked through and golden brown. Allow to cool for 3-5 minutes before serving!
