- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry thawed
- ¼ cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- 24 slices pepperoni 6 per puff
- 1 egg beaten for the egg wash
- 3-4 tbsp hot honey
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Roll out one puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle about 10x12 inches. Slice into 6 even rectangles.
Place rectangles on the baking sheet and score a smaller border inside each piece (don’t cut all the way through). Add a thin layer of pizza sauce to the center of each puff—just enough to lightly cover the middle.
Sprinkle with shredded mozzarella and top with 2–3 slices of pepperoni and drizzle on a little hot honey. Brush the outer edges with egg wash. Bake for 15–18 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
Remove from oven and drizzle with extra hot honey while warm. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes or Italian seasoning if desired. Serve immediately or let cool slightly before storing.
