Ingredients

  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry thawed
  • ¼ cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 24 slices pepperoni 6 per puff
  • 1 egg beaten for the egg wash
  • 3-4 tbsp hot honey

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Roll out one puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle about 10x12 inches. Slice into 6 even rectangles.
  • Place rectangles on the baking sheet and score a smaller border inside each piece (don’t cut all the way through). Add a thin layer of pizza sauce to the center of each puff—just enough to lightly cover the middle.
  • Sprinkle with shredded mozzarella and top with 2–3 slices of pepperoni and drizzle on a little hot honey. Brush the outer edges with egg wash. Bake for 15–18 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
  • Remove from oven and drizzle with extra hot honey while warm. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes or Italian seasoning if desired. Serve immediately or let cool slightly before storing.
