Giant Pizza Bagels

These Giant Pizza Bagels are an easy, cheesy, and delicious twist on a classic favorite. Plain bagels are brushed with garlic herb butter, topped with pizza sauce, melty mozzarella, and mini pepperoni, then baked until golden and bubbly. Finished with parmesan and fresh basil, they make the perfect quick meal, snack, or party appetizer!

Ingredients

For the garlic butter:

  • 3 tbsp salted butter melted
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

For the pizza bagels:

  • 3 plain bagels sliced in half
  • ¾ cup pizza sauce
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella
  • ½ cup mini pepperoni you can use normal pepperoni as well!
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and arrange bagel halves cut side up on a parchment lined baking sheet. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic and Italian seasoning. Brush this mixture onto each bagel half.
  • Spread 2 tablespoons of pizza sauce over each bagel and top with ¼ cup shredded mozzarella and about 2 tablespoons of mini pepperoni. Sprinkle with additional Italian seasoning. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until cheese is melted and lightly golden.Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with grated parmesan. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve warm.
