- 1 cup water
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1 ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2-4 tbsp heavy cream optional, you can omit and add whatever dairy to your drink you prefer!
In a small sauce pan combine water, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Simmer for 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and heavy cream if using. Cool and refrigerate for up to 7 days. Shake before using.
